Giving our country away. Here are some of the provisions of the proposed amnesty bill. What do you think of these?

1) Illegal aliens filing for amnesty would be given legal status 24 hours after applying even if no background check has been completed.

2) We, the US taxpayer, will be paying for the immigration attorneys representing the illegal aliens.

3) Congress tells us the Z Visa is temporary but what they don't mention is that it can be renewed indefinitely.

4) Illegal alien gang members, of which there are estimated to be 30,000 in 33 states, would be given amnesty if all they do is say they don't want to be a gang member anymore.

5) The US government will give money to the Mexican government to provide incentives, ie, better education, health care, to keep Mexicans in Mexico.

6) Illegal aliens would pay no back taxes.

7) Border security is not considered first in this bill. The "proposed" 800 mile fence on our southern border (which by the way really isn't proposed, it has been approved and funded although only a few miles have been built to date) would be reduced to 200 miles.

8) Illegal aliens would be given tuition for college.

9) They move to the front of the immigration line, ahead of all those patiently waiting in their home countries.

10) Amnesty for absconders - those that have already been ordered deported.

11) Effectively shut down our immigration courts - all immigration court proceedings would have to be closed to allow the illegal aliens to apply for amnesty.

12) English is not required until the 9th year of amnesty

13) Illegal aliens will be eligible for the Earned Income Credit.

So, what do you think of all that? I think our government is giving this country away, lock, stock and barrel.

Is this an increased tax? Or a re-allocation?

4) Illegal alien gang members, of which there are estimated to be 30,000 in 33 states, would be given amnesty if all they do is say they don't want to be a gang member anymore.

that is gay, but what happens if they are caught again in said gang activity?

5) The US government will give money to the Mexican government to provide incentives, ie, better education, health care, to keep Mexicans in Mexico.

This i like...

6) Illegal aliens would pay no back taxes.

I honestly don't mind this really.

8) Illegal aliens would be given tuition for college.

Prior to becoming legal citizens?

9) They move to the front of the immigration line, ahead of all those patiently waiting in their home countries.

again, that is super gay...i wonder why this is put in there.

I dont mind this...what needs to be fixed, in my opinion is what are we doing as a government to not just keep illegal aliens out, but what are we doing to ensure that the illegal aliens who are coming in, don't have C4 strapped to their chest and aren't intending in dropping a nuke in my back yard. I play wiffle ball back there.

You do understand that anything we give to Z Card holders comes out of your pocket don't you?

If we would just enforce the laws we already have, we wouldn't have a problem in the first place.

All these benefits are given to Z Card holders, none of which are legal citizens.

And another thing. Who do you suppose pays for all the medical treatment these people receive? Hospitals cannot refuse treatment to anyone based on their ability to pay. So, if an illegal walks into an emergency room, which they do and use as their primary care provider because it is free, they have to be seen. Those costs have to be passed on to someone. Guess who? You and me. It costs me over 40K a year to insure my 5 employees. Last month I had the pleasure of an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. I was in the hospital for about 2 hours. The cost of that visit? Nearly 6,000 dollars!
