If you haven't had the chance to watch the Saddleback Church forum where Rick Warren asked Obama and McCain the same questions but during different segments, so there would be no debating or confrontations, you must do so. It can be seen on youtube if you search Saddleback.
The difference in their answers and probably more importantly, the MANNER in which they answered, is really telling about each of them.
Obama hemmmm's and haaaaa's and hedges his answers with all kinds of rhetoric, while McCain is straight-forward and to the point. Questions like, "When does human life begin". Obama goes through the whole routine of, well, science says one thing, blah blah blah blah blah. McCain....., and I quote, "At conception". He answers clearly because he knows what he believes and the situation does not change that belief, while Obama knows what he believes depending on what the situation is so he has to think about how to answer depending on who he is talking to.
Watch it. I think it is a must watch.

by the way, towards the end of the second debate my wife turned to me and said, " the only time i really learned anything about these canadites was at the Rick Warren thing." that is what we need. not these stupid, he said she said and you can pick the she here...i mean serisouly why doesn't mccain jsut say, "look seriously, you really want this guy running your country...really. i mean he can't even answer to were his campaign money comes from. he wont admit to how he got into Yale. Oh, ask to see his transcripts from columbia. or better yet, as to see his name on one set of minutes from a yale law club meeting...i mean he was president of it.
i mean, let mccain kick him in the throat and bust his balls to his face for Ayers. let him beat in the 3 million dollar projector, or the 30k in bogus internet donations. or just say, "for the LOVE barrack, i swear if you complain about our commander in chief in again i will piss stomp your ears in," or say, "hey tool, remember when you voted to send then the money to alaska for the bridge INSTEAD of sending it to New Orleans...remember that one? I couldn't believe it." or "Oh wait, hey guy, did you really think you were poor when you were making 240,000 a year?" "Oh by the way you knock on my condos when your one home, paid for illegally, is worth more then all mine together."
then the kill shot, " hey what rank where you when you where in the service?" oh, right, "i mean your kids, when did they serve again?" "Oh that is right, you don't have any idea what the rank structures are or what it even means to serve you stupid piece of....shdfjhdjfh"
now that would be a debate!
